If
you have got this far, then you are probably mostly
certain that Lanzarote is the place for your home.
Geographically, for such a small island, it has
so many unique and superb features ranging from
the cloud-topped volcanoes in the south, to the
underground labyrinths in the north. It is ideal
for a beach holiday – or a hiking holiday.
You can party every night until the sun comes up,
or you can explore every day until the sun goes
down. Excellent for holidays, part-time or full
time living. You have the choice.
The
growth of Lanzarote both in terms of population,
foreign property ownership and capital appreciation
of property has been phenomenal over the past 10
– 15 years and it is by no means exhausted.
Whilst there may be many other destinations which
offer similar standards of living, it is difficult
to find a place which offers everything Lanzarote
does. The year-round temperate climate allows for
outdoor living most days – no need to be cooped
up inside with the central heating on!
The multi-cultural diversity of the population sees
children growing up with at least 2 languages from
nursery age, and it is not uncommon for children
to be speaking Spanish, English and German fluently
well before Secondary School age. If you would like

At
the other end of the scale, for people of retirement
age, Lanzarote provides the opportunity for almost
endless relaxation. The lifestyle on the island
is unhurried, unconcerned with Keeping up with the
Joneses, and a world away from big-city living which
is encountered more and more in even the smallest
of cities in other countries. On the property side,
there are many reasons people choose Lanzarote.
Captital appreciation on property is a steadily
rising constant – after all, the sun shines
most days of the year making it a desirable place
to own a property.
There is demand from many other countries and cultures
to purchase in Lanzarote, thereby keeping the market
buoyant.
And, of course, there is the ever-present influence
of Cesar
Manrique to ensure that Lanzarote remains individual
in its appearance and culture.
Whether you are looking for a sound investment which
will bring you handsome returns; whether you are
looking for a holiday home; whether you are looking
to make a permanent move, you will find Lanzarote
has something to offer to everyone and will continue
to do so for many years to come.
Flights are frequent and from most UK and Irish
airports – and direct too.
One of the major factors about
buying a second home or relocating to Lanzarote
is, of course, the fantastic weather we enjoy here.
Of
course, we do have our occasional grey sky and a
few downpours now and then, but for most of the
time, the weather is kind to us.
