ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
Pomer, traditionally an agricultural community, is a small quiet village located near the southern tip
of Istria. In the village are several family owned small restaurants, a shop and a marina complex, all
within a few minutes walk from the villa.
Some Nearby Places
Medulin, a holiday town having a variety of restaurants (many on the sea front), is 7Km/10 minutes
by car. Medulin also has a sports aerodrome for scenic flights and sky diving etc., members of
which took the above photograph.
Premantura, the last village at the end of the peninsula, has several restaurants and is 7Km/10
minutes by car. To the south of the village lies the remainder of the Istrian peninsula. This is a wild
and natural area with many tracks and secluded bays.
Verudela, the principal marina in this area, is 10Km/10 minutes by car.
Pula, 8Km/15 minutes by car, has all the facilities of a major town. The Roman occupation of 2000
years ago is much in evidence, including one of the best preserved amphitheatres outside Rome.
